When God speaks.

There are times that your tears won’t choose a place to run out, or at least well up in your eyes. Sometimes it’s inside a moving van.

Let me set up the scene. Bumabyahe kaming pamilya papuntang Laguna. Ako, nakaupo sa dulo ng aming humble na L300 van.

I am currently reading ‘Soaking in His Presence’ by Leif Hetalnd & Ptr. Paul Yadao. Twas a pdf file in my Ipod. All the while, nakikinig lang ako sa songs when I decided to continue reading this awesome book.

Chapter 4. The Rhythm of Heaven. I was heading into a new paragraph of the chapter. Currently playing ang album ni Brian Doerksen na ‘Level Ground’ and the song was Lifelong Passion, number 3 (Oha kabisado). Medyo patapos na yung song so lilipat na to the next song. And while I was moving my eyes towards the first sentence which read ‘Are you tired? Worn Out?’, the next song played (titled ‘Enter the Rest of God’).

Big deal? Well, the lyrics of the first line of the song was:

‘Are you tired? Worn out and empty?’.

woah.

And guess what. Every tune and word from the song completely synced with the words of the first sentence of that paragraph.

Coincidence? Mababaw? Divine distraction I say.


Ayun. Iyak na.

And I needed it. All the while I’m striving. Ayoko na. Panahon ngayon para sumandal lang sa Kanya. 

Mamaya lusob na.

Hintay lang kayo mga kalaban.
